WWE Draft 2017: 10 Trades To Expect

3. Luke Harper To Raw

New Day Smackdown
WWE.com

Luke Harper has lost his way. A few weeks ago, it looked like SmackDown were setting him up for a huge babyface run. Harper was getting major reactions following his split from Bray Wyatt, and his match with Randy Orton at the Royal Rumble went over extremely well. Sadly, he has since faded into the background on SmackDown, and played a minor role in WrestleMania’s Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

It’s not all doom and gloom, though. Luke is one of the best big men in the company, and the fact that WWE gave him a new look a few weeks ago suggests they still have plans for him. Harper may never become a main eventer, but he’s still going places, and his career could be kickstarted by jumping ship.

On Raw, Luke would be a tremendous addition to the United States Title scene, and a great potential opponent for the brand’s more exciting wrestlers. Furthermore, he desperately needs to get away from Wyatt, who will overshadow him for as long as he stays on SmackDown. Look for Kurt Angle to make a play for Harper at some point in the evening, and for the big man to prosper on Raw.
