WWE Draft 2019: 10 Things That Need To Happen

1. WWE Stick To It

This, by a long way, is the single most important thing WWE must remember after 2019's Draft is old news.

Bruce Prichard has spoken at length on his podcast about Vince McMahon's knee-jerk need to change things following Drafts, Shake-Ups or any other roster division tweak. One example he gave was that the boss didn't feel Chris Benoit was a good fit for SmackDown in 2002. So, when he returned from neck surgery, the Canadian made his home on Raw without any extensive explanation.

This isn't something WWE can get away with today. The current product doesn't nearly give them as much goodwill with the audience, and people are looking for any excuse to throw mud at the company. That means WWE can't foster a situation that sees Vince stroll out onto TV three months from now and talk about "Wild Card Rules" or any other nonsense.

WWE must stick with their decisions for at least a full year before changing anything. If they can't do that, then they shouldn't bother with a Draft at all. This one needs some longevity behind it, otherwise fans will point to past failures and consider this the latest example.
