WWE Draft 2019: 10 Things That Need To Happen
2. The 'Fiend' Is Exempt
Back in 2002, Steve Austin was the focal point of a power struggle between Vince McMahon's SmackDown and Ric Flair's Raw. The free agent eventually settled on Monday nights, albeit not before toying with both. That's an idea WWE could recycle and pump full of crack cocaine for Bray Wyatt's 'Fiend'. It's the kind of thing he'd do.
Why, pray tell, would a loner nightmare maniac like Wyatt pledge his allegiance to any show right now?
He's a free spirit, one battling himself more than others. WWE's concern after Hell In A Cell's debacle of a finish should be recuperating any aura Bray's alter ego has left. If he embarks on a lengthy, trippy mindf*ck with Raw and SmackDown owners, then he might regain some of that lost credibility from last Sunday night.
It's not like any self-respecting brand owner would want such a wild beast on his/her show anyway. Come SmackDown and Raw, anyone in charge of explaining away Draft picks should reason that Wyatt's madness is something to avoid rather than welcome in.
