WWE Draft 2019: 10 Things That Need To Happen

10. They Move On From 'Us vs. Them'

One of the most moribund ideas in WWE's inventory is the tired Raw vs. SmackDown concept.

It's honestly so crap by now that words almost fail to properly explain how boring it sounds in 2019. It's been said before, but this 'Us vs. Them' thing is something that should've died when the Raw vs. SmackDown video game series did. The fact it's been allowed to intermittently pop back up (Bragging Rights, Survivor Series etc) shows a lack of creativity.

It's time for WWE to shoot this idea in the head, bury the body and forget about it for a long time. Somewhat ironically, brand warfare has become so stale that even its corpse wouldn't stink the place out by comparison; that says it all. Moving on and genuinely seeking freshness is a must.

If Survivor Series 2019 comes and goes with some sort of tacked on Raw vs. SmackDown theme, colour this writer disinterested. If the show follows on from Crown Jewel's Team Hogan vs. Team Flair gimmick with exactly the same thing, then that interest will be totally dead.
