WWE Draft 2019: 10 Things That Need To Happen

4. Shayna Baszler Moves On From NXT

Here's another controversial suggestion.

Shayna Baszler is currently the reigning NXT Women's Champion, and she's been the red carpet star of that division for years now. Here's the thing: NXT hardcores won't like this one bit, but Shayna has accomplished everything she can on the brand. This isn't a case of moving up, it's a case of pastures new.

Don't think of her hitting Raw or SmackDown as a promotion. NXT is on a level playing field since the USA Network jump, and the days of cherry-picking every piece of prime talent from that roster should be very much over. Still, Baszler would be sh*tting amazing as a rival for Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks or Ronda Rousey should she return.

The big question would be who should replace her as NXT's alpha female. There are loads of choices, including Candice LeRae, Bianca Belair, Io Shirai and Mia Yim. They prove that the division would be in good hands without its centrepiece.
