WWE Draft 2024: 10 Roster Trades That MUST Happen

1. Cody Rhodes (Raw > SmackDown)

WWE Draft 2024 Roman Reigns
WWE

Adrenaline in his soul, SmackDown is now Cody's show.

Sorry for the crappy reworked lyrics, but Cody Rhodes shouldn't be splitting time between both major brands after the Draft. That might be fine for now, but after? Nah. The only thing that'll achieve is making the whole exercise look pointless. Don't give us that, '...but he's the Undisputed Champion' rubbish either.

It's important that the 2024 Draft establishes two things. One, that Damian Priest is the sole male World Champ over on Raw. Two, that Cody has supplanted Roman Reigns as head boy on SmackDown (albeit as more of a full-timer than the 'Chief' ever was during his run with the gold). That's unavoidable for Triple H.

Besides, announcing Cody would be a banging counter-punch from blue GM Nick Aldis after Pearce revealed Roman as his marquee spring signing. Then, Rhodes can appear exclusively on SmackDown for a while and reshape the show's identity.
