WWE Draft 2024: 10 Roster Trades That MUST Happen
4. Carmelo Hayes (NXT > Raw)
Carmelo Hayes did business the right way by putting old partner-turned-enemy Trick Williams over in NXT: Stand & Deliver's main event during 'Mania weekend. Trick will have his day on Raw or SmackDown, but not before Hayes does. Carmelo is a shoe-in to hit the main roster and take another step towards greatness.
Money/big paydays await you, sir.
Can Hayes fulfil his potential properly and become a main roster headliner? That remains to be seen. One thing he's guaranteed to do is bolster the Monday Night Raw ranks and cement himself as a key part of the show. Carmelo would be an awesome challenger for new Intercontinental Champ and beloved babyface Sami Zayn, for example.
Triple H might fancy booking that immediately. Or, perhaps 'The Game' will show restraint by building Hayes up slowly whilst Zayn wars with old training partner Chad Gable. Man, the options WWE has with this roster - it's an insane level of depth.
