WWE Draft 2024: 5 Things That Will Happen (And 5 That WON’T!)

4. WILL: Legends Announcing Picks

There's something simultaneously charming and irritating about the way WWE handles these legendary cameos. Icons of yesteryear are clearly thrilled to be out in front of fans again, but having them read cue cards and line up dry Draft announcements can lead to awkward exchanges that feel terribly forced.

Big pop for Teddy Long whenever he shows up though. Holla holla.

WWE has three options for the Draft pick reveals. One, have Triple H and Stephanie McMahon handle it. Two, leave it to the brand GMs themselves. Three, give Rob Van Dam another call and blend him in with other legends to get a quick reaction from fans before he announces that LA Knight is staying put on SmackDown. Or something.

Personally, this guy would plump for the GM option and at least try to stir up some inter-brand chaos there. Saying that, it'd be nice to see some old favourites from the past stumble out to say hello. That's what WWE will presumably go for.
