WWE Elimination Chamber 2017: 10 Things That Must Happen

3. Baron Corbin Dominates Part Of The Chamber Match

All of the focus put on Baron Corbin will count for nothing if the next step in his development - arguably the most crucial step in his short career thus far - isn't handled carefully at Elimination Chamber.

WWE don't need to get too fancy with Corbin. The foreboding big man has been effective when booked in a straightforward manner; not mincing his words during promos or when providing guest commentary, Corbin's a**-kicking characteristics work best when he is kept simple.

JBL dubbed Corbin as a 'dark horse' in the upcoming WWE Title Elimination Chamber match, a proclamation that instantly put over the heel as someone fans should take seriously. For that very reason, WWE's writers must capitalise on Baron's current mystique by having him rampage through the competition for a short spell.

Should Corbin eliminate somebody like The Miz (which would be fitting, given their recent banter on screen) or Dean Ambrose, the super-aggressive heel could feasibly move on to an Intercontinental Title feud just in time for WrestleMania 33.

Corbin might not be ready for the top title mix right now - but the Chamber should be another step towards that end goal.
