3. Great Insight Into Eric's Natural Drive To Make Money

From a very young age, Eric Bischoff plotted and schemed different ways to make money. Incredibly, school work didn't interest him, mainly because he seemingly wanted to just get ahead away from the ideas of others. The doc does a brilliant job of conveying that, including talking about a landscaping venture that became mildly successful.

There's a sense that Bischoff becomes bored of things once they have reached their peak, almost as though he requires continual improvement to motivate him. That all comes back to something viewers are continually told, the man is driven by the desire to make as much money as possible.

That fact actually led to his introduction to the AWA, after he and Sonny Onoo pitched the idea of advertising slots for a children's game to Verne Gagne. Bischoff is painted as a superb ideas man, one who kept the idea of creating cash in his mind at all times.

Coming back around when the film inevitably explores the creation of the nWo, it all ties into wrestling eventually. That's a smart move by WWE, whilst they discuss Bischoff's other interests, they keep the fact that people want to hear about the industry he was involved in close to hand.
