WWE Evolution: 10 Things That Must Happen

10. Back-Patting Doesn't Go Too Far

Please say the emphasis of Evolution will be on the actual matches, and there won't be some self-aggrandising opening salvo from Stephanie. Heel or otherwise, she'd be shooting herself in the foot by kicking off the show herself. It's vital, vital that a wrestling match kicks off this pay-per-view.

It'd actually be nice to see as little back-patting as possible from WWE. Sure, they deserve credit for pushing an all-female event such as this, but the fact it's happening is enough of a gesture without everyone getting all weepy about their foresight.

Women don't want to hear about equality in wrestling, they want kick-ass athletes (like this roster has) showing why they deserve it in the ring.

This is a platform for matches, not promos, and it'd be nice if WWE remembered that. If they absolutely must, then squeezing a Steph or Triple H speech in between major matches to give fans a rest would be acceptable. One thing's for sure: that promo cannot be a focal point.
