WWE Evolution: 6 Most Likely Outcomes

1. The Main Event Will Be A Major Disappointment

Back when Stephanie McMahon announced Evolution, she used the recent women's revolution as a jump-off, citing how women like Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, Bayley and Becky Lynch placed the spotlight back on female superstars and ultimately paved the way for the first-ever all women's pay-per-view. This was a truthful and fair statement to make as those four ladies (along with others) revolutionised women's wrestling in WWE, stunning audiences with their amazing in-ring feats.

However, fast forward to Evolution itself, and not a single one of them are featured in the main event match. Instead, the event will be headlined by a practical newcomer, Ronda Rousey, and an out-of-practice relic from the reviled Divas Era, Nikki Bella.

Not exactly the best way to celebrate such a milestone in the women's revolution.

Rousey is undoubtedly a formidable force in the ring, but she's still learning her craft and debuted long after the revolution had begun, while Nikki Bella was one of the major problems with women's wrestling during the Divas Era and is, at best, slightly above average. So, to the untrained eye, it might be a pretty decent main event. However, decent isn't acceptable for an event of this magnitude. This is the (deep breath) "first ever all-women's pay-per-view" that the company has produced, and it's ridiculous that it isn't fully celebrating the women responsible for it.

The match will be a disappointment and the event deserves better. We deserve better. The women's revolution deserves better.
