WWE Evolution: 8 Matches That Must Happen

8. Sasha Banks Vs. Bayley

When Bayley snapped and attacked Sasha Banks on the 25 June episode of Raw, it seemed like WWE had finally realised how stale she was as a smiling babyface. Not quite, because they (rather blatantly) took the soft approach. Bayley hasn't gone full-blown heel, and her counselling story with Banks continues to meander along without an end goal in sight.

That is, of course, unless the end goal is actually a Banks heel turn.

The story of fractured friendship between Bayley and Banks has, unfortunately, been pretty crap. They're a million miles away from the red-hot characters they were back at NXT TakeOver: Respect in late-2015, and it's impossible to envision a rematch having as much buzz if it happened right now.

It doesn't need to. Evolution is just over three months away, and that's enough time to stir the pot, turn Sasha heel on Bayley and let both women tear the house down in New York this October. After all the poor writing they've been forced to stomach, that's the least WWE can do for both women.
