WWE Evolution: 8 Things We Learned

4. Several Women On The Main Roster Need To Watch Their Backs

Nobody on the main touring crew across Raw and SmackDown should be too worried about veterans like Trish Stratus and Lita, not when there's a greater emerging threat.

At Evolution alone, Toni Storm, Io Shirai, Shayna Baszler and Kairi Sane looked ready for the responsibility of filling a spot on the main roster. That fact can't have Raw women such as Dana Brooke, The Riott Squad or SmackDown's Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville combo sitting too comfortably in their seats.

They, more so than anybody else in the women's locker room, are yet to find their niche on either major brand. There's some tremendous talent shooting up the ladder and vying for WWE's attention, and there are only so many slots to go around. If Evolution proved anything, it's that nothing can be taken for granted.

What's to stop someone like Sane waltzing onto Tuesday nights and becoming a focal point? Nothing. Who would be surprised if Shayna Baszler was moved upwards the next time she drops that NXT Women's Title? Nobody. Their presence and poise on such a massive pay-per-view will have some looking over their shoulders.
