WWE Evolution: 8 Things We Learned

5. Trish Stratus & Lita Would Be Perfect Part-Timers

Aside from a few minor fumbles (that opening head scissors takedown was a bit disjointed), both Lita and Trish Stratus entered remarkable performances at Evolution. They, along with Mickie James and Alexa Bliss' replacement Alicia Fox, deserve a ton of credit for opening the show with a bang.

The main lesson gleaned from watching Trish and Lita run through moves like the Moonsault, Stratusfaction and Chick Kick was that they're still very much over as spots. Fans, young and old, could tell they were major, match-ending moves, and there's no reason to believe that wouldn't be the case again.

If nothing else, both have to return for a few matches per year.

There's a WrestleMania spot just begging for their combined star power and history. If WWE can resist overusing them (unlikely given the pair's age and projects away from wrestling) then Trish and Lita could become ideal backup choices to fill spots when needed.
