WWE Extreme Rules: 10 Matches It Could Set Up For The Future
4. Cesaro vs. Bad News Barrett
Wait, I thought Id already given Cesaro something to do, with Jack Swagger? Well I hope that feud takes off immediately after Extreme Rules, or else its bound to never happen. So while Cesaro is tying up loose ends with his former tag partner, Bad News Barrett can busy himself with Rob Van Dam. He should take care of RVD around the same time that Cesaro and Swagger blow off their feud. Perfect timing! Cesaro vs. Barrett is good news. They are both scrappy and stylish, in the wrestling sense of the word. They pride themselves on good form and stiff work, which would make for a unique match. I would love to see them face off, two exotic brutes who arent easily intimidated. Barrett holding the Intercontinental Championship serves to up the ante, as it gives Cesaro a tangible goal beyond simply proving himself. Given his moniker, The King of Swing, and his penchant for performing the giant swing in nearly every match, it would make for an interesting side-note that Barrett will vow to never be swung. He is simply too proud a man and wont stand (nay, swing) for it. That will add further intrigue to their feud, as Cesaro chases both the title and the elusive swing.
