In fact it has proven to be a hellacious bout, especially if the two wrestlers can't stand each other. The strap match can get very personal, especially when one is slapping the other across the ring to a bloody pulp. Forced to be tired together by the stamp, the moves that they can perform in the ring are somewhat limited. But the ways in which a wrestler can get vicious in the ring increase when the strap can be used to strangle and choke the wrestler to near unconsciousness. As of this entry, Big E is having some difficulty with Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio has secured a couple big wins over the Intercontinental Champion, and at Extreme Rules Big E will probably wind up defending his championship against Del Rio. Since this is Extreme Rules, tying these two together with a strap could put a little more spice into the match. Del Rio working the arm and Big E powering Del Rio off is a given, but with the strap added Del Rio could come up with a clever way to take Big E down and secure the IC title for himself. Big E is also a great big man to have when it comes to throwing Del Rio around the ring. The strap would ensure that Del Rio wouldn't be able to get away by slipping outside of the ring. Now that sounds pretty extreme.
