WWE Extreme Rules 2016: 10 Shocks That Could Happen
4. Massive Line-Up Announced For Money In The Bank Match
Shane and Stephanie McMahon may have another in-ring segment to help pad out the show at Extreme Rules. Their story is building towards something, but they could be playing pals on the pay-per-view. Keeping things relatively short, the pair would announce what was going to happen at the next monthly special, Money In The Bank on June 19.
On that event, a Money In The Bank Ladder Match to determine a new top contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Title is almost a certainty. Of course, WWE could actually hold a similar bout for the title itself, but it makes more sense to establish a new challenger on the show.
The likes of John Cena, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins are all set to return from injury at some point before Money In The Bank. All are stars Shane and Stephanie could announce for the match, adding the blockbuster that Brock Lesnar will also be involved.
Right away, Money In The Bank would look huge, and have a growing impact on what was going to happen at Battleground and - later - SummerSlam.
