WWE Extreme Rules 2016: 10 Things We Learned

1. Seth Rollins Is Still Using The Pedigree

When WWE made the decision to have Seth Rollins stop using the Curb Stomp, they replaced that move with The Pedigree. Obviously, that finisher is more closely associated with Triple H, but the story was that 'The Game' gave the move to his protege. For a short while, it made sense.

As the focal point of The Authority, why wouldn't Seth be fashioned into a younger version of Triple H? That suited the heel faction's agenda at the time, but the general feeling was he would stop using the move upon his return. Notably at Extreme Rules, Rollins used a Pedigree to down Roman Reigns.

Does this mean that he's about to step back into his role as a representative for Triple H and Stephanie? Or is it simply coincidence, and WWE want him to continue using the finisher without any storyline ties to the man most famous for using it?

The debut of a new move may have been better if it's the latter, although it does add intrigue over what Seth's motivation is post-Extreme Rules.
