WWE Extreme Rules 2016: 10 Things You Probably Missed

8. Corey Graves Gets Mixed Up

Poor Corey Graves, he got a little mixed up when he was hyping Extreme Rules as part of the Kickoff panel. Looking to put over the dangerous matches fans would see on the pay-per-view, he completely invented a match that didn't actually take place. In Corey's mind, Roman Reigns faced Bray Wyatt at last year's event of the same name.

Of course, that never occurred. Wyatt wasn't even on the card, and Reigns faced The Big Show in a Last Man Standing Match. The Bray vs. Roman situation didn't really begin until Money In The Bank, when Wyatt cost Reigns the chance to climb the ladder and grab the briefcase.

They then faced off at Battleground and later at Hell In A Cell in one-on-one matches. The Extreme Rules encounter never happened, which makes it weird that Graves even thought to mention it.

He's usually so well-researched, but his errant comment likely slipped the net for most fans watching the event. Everybody makes mistakes, but this was an especially unique one.
