WWE Extreme Rules 2016: 5 Near-Guarantees & 3 Possible Surprises
6. Possible Surprise: Charlotte Could Receive Assistance
WWE has played on the fact that Charlotte is overly reliant on her father's antics since her dramatic heel turn. As Ric Flair is barred from ringside for his daughter's Women's Championship defence against Natalya in a Submission match - Charlotte will lose the title if Flair even so much as walks down the aisle - it's possible the Flairs will have an ace up their sleeves.
Ric Flair may not be able to get involved in the contest, but the no disqualifications nature of Submission matches means that a run in as legal as a wrist lock. Considering the Flairs had no problem getting referee "Little Naitch" Charles Robinson on their side, the dirtiest family in the game could easily organise an enforcer to ensure Charlotte's championship remains safe.
As Charlotte has segregated herself from the rest of the prominent Superstars in the Women's division, the opportunity could arise for an underutilised talent or fresh face to feature alongside Charlotte.
With Emma recovering from surgery, Dana Brooke could form a fresh partnership and skyrocket up the division. Or perhaps Naomi is ready to cut in line.
