WWE appeared to have put the brakes on Sasha Banks' slow-burn heel turn on her best friend Bayley, after multiple teases that positioned her as a slightly condescending older sister to the then-Women's Champion.

After Bayley lost to Bliss though, her attention was mysteriously diverted into a nothing programme with Alicia Fox, almost as if she was no longer bothered about protecting the interests of her best friend now she no longer had what 'The Boss' really wanted back all along.

Following her nothing tag match opening the show, Banks will have concluded the minor thread with the Cruiserweight crew by the time Bayley and Bliss square off, and her turn will finally occur in the title match's closing moments.

With Bayley seemingly unable to follow through on giving Alexa the beating she deserves, Banks will emerge more than willing to do it herself. A hip-swivel later, and Bayley will be out cold courtesy of a brutal attack from her bestie.

Bliss will steal the easy victory whilst Sasha storms off, kicking off a huge summer programme to conclude at Brooklyn's SummerSlam, almost two years to the day after their incredible NXT TakeOver match helped usher in a revolution in the very same building.
