WWE Extreme Rules 2018: 10 Things That Must Happen
4. The Miz Helps The Bludgeon Bros Retain Their Tag Belts
WWE are smart not to give The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan away on a 'B' level pay-per-view like Extreme Rules. There's so much more build the creative team can get away with before they absolutely have to book the one match SmackDown viewers have been choking to see ever since Daniel was a non-wrestling GM.
This Team Hell No reunion is a convenient excuse to prolong the story and give The Bludgeon Brothers a credible, beloved tag-team to beat. It can't be anything more than that. Penning a Bryan and Kane win would undermine Harper and Rowan, interfere with the incoming Miz story and, well, it'd just be pointless.
It's not like Kane will be around long-term in 2018. He's busy trying to become the "Big Red Mayor".
The best outcome would be Miz sprinting down the aisle just as it looked like Team Hell No might pull out an unlikely win. Like the cruel bastard he is, the heel should then crack Bryan with a steel chair to draw the disqualification or trip him up so The Bludgeon Bros can double team and pin Kane.
Yes to Miz being a jerk. No to a title switch.
