WWE Extreme Rules 2019: 7 Things It Told Us About SummerSlam

4. Alexa Will Kick Nikki To The Curb Before Then

What good is Nikki Cross to Alexa Bliss if the little devil can't secure the SmackDown Women's Title from Bayley? Expect that to be a question the bitchy BFF asks her would-be pal on TV over the coming weeks. There's a split coming, one everyone could see coming long before Cross was pinned at Extreme Rules.

At first, the point that WWE might have Alexa string Nikki along some more was in this spot. Not anymore. Now, there's every chance 'Little Miss Bliss' will show her true colours, vindicate Bayley's skepticism and show Cross that she's the worst wrestling friend since Christian stole Chris Jericho's girl in 2004.

Just like Trish Stratus back then, Alexa is a witch who only looks out for her own gain. It might not be a title match, but Cross vs. Bliss is bound to happen at some point. Why not SummerSlam, so WWE can check out if Nikki has the chops to handle a bigger stage?

There may be trouble ahead.
