WWE Extreme Rules 2019: 7 Things It Told Us About SummerSlam

3. Lacey Evans Is The Only Choice For Becky

Let's analyse the Raw Women's Title scene for a minute. Of all the gals on that roster, only Lacey Evans is poised to continue on as Becky Lynch's main challenger. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross are busy, Dana Brooke, Naomi, Natalya, Sarah Logan and Tamina are peripheral, Nia Jax and Ruby Riott are injured, Ronda Rousey is inactive and Sasha Banks still hasn't returned either.

Lacey is the only choice.

There are worse scenarios WWE could be facing, admittedly. Against Lynch, Evans has come into her own, and she's a definite champion in the making sometime. One thing creative must be mindful of is that she doesn't lose too many times to Becky though. Their 'Sassy Southern Belle' is too promising to become a default jobber just because there's nobody else.

That's just it, there isn't anyone else right now. Unless WWE decide to flex their 'Wild Card Rule' muscles and bring someone like Mandy Rose or Sonya Deville over from SmackDown, call up Shayna Baszler (or book Becky vs. Charlotte Flair #1678), then they don't have much leeway here.
