http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5NJMqH4rAY The career of Jeff Hardy throughout the years has been rocky at best. Through numerous wellness policy violations it had been made very public that quite often Jeff just couldn't get it together. The ability of Jeff Hardy is something that had never gone unnoticed by the WWE fans and everyone held their breath waiting for him to finally make his way to the main event. Hardy was over at this time period and almost as over if not arguably more so than Cena. After scoring his first WWE championship win back in December of 2008 Hardy proved to the world that he could hang in the main event and look legit doing it. Fast forward to Extreme rules 2009 where Hardy was paired with Edge in a ladder match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Edge and Jeff Hardy have both been intertwined in the careers of one another ever since the beginning. The Hardy Boyz and Edge and Christian are arguably what made the ladder match famous in 1999. When we arrived in 2009 and saw that we would be getting a one on one match involving both Edge and Hardy for a major championship we just knew that something special was about to happen. Neither Edge or Jeff Hardy had any problems putting their bodies on the line when it came to giving the fans a show and this night was no exception. In a match where you would think you've seen all there is to see from these two superstars they kept pulling off spots that wowed everyone in attendance and everyone watching at home. These two fearless men managed to pull off stunts that would have killed any normal man many times over and somehow kept going. It's one thing to fall off of a ladder but it's a whole other thing to fall through a ladder. Jeff Hardy managed to pull out the win in this one by trapping Edge within the ladder and climbing to the top clamining the World Heavyweight Championship as his own. While a bruised and battered Jeff Hardy was celebrating with his newly won title CM Punk thickened the plot by cashing in his money in the bank briefcase. In a heartbreaking twist of fate Jeff Hardy lost his World Heavyweight Championship to CM Punk. This event set these two on a collision course all summer which gave Jeff Hardy arguably his best feud to date. This match is a classic because it tells a story on so many different levels and without a doubt is not just one of the best ladder matches in Extreme Rules history it is one of the best matches in WWE history.

I could talk your ear off all day about my vast (albeit completely useless) knowledge of pro-wrestling and then argue with you how the characters in LOST were more important than the plot itself.
