WWE Extreme Rules - Confusion Over PPV Being Held In Daniel Bryan's Hometown

Extremerules The WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view event is set to take place on Sunday May 4th. It's the first PPV that follows WrestleMania and usually features matches that have stipulations. Most years, every match on the card has a stipulation. Whether that's the case this year, we don't know yet. What's a mystery right now is where the event will take place. There have been reports in recent weeks stating that Extreme Rules would take place in Seattle, Washington. The reason that's significant is because Seattle is about two hours away from the city of Aberdeen, WA where WWE superstar Daniel Bryan grew up. Following a Raw TV event in Seattle prior to the TLC PPV where the crowd went wild for Daniel Bryan, speculation rose that they would be rewarded with a PPV. The question is, will it happen? Here's what was posted on the Facebook page of the Key Arena in Seattle:
"Unfortunately we do not have WWE on May 4th. We are aware of the rumors that have been circulating. We love having the WWE and WWE Fans in our building and can't wait to have them back!"
That was in response to fans asking about the show. It has since been taken down by the Facebook page. It means one of two things. 1) They are telling the truth that Extreme Rules is not taking place in Seattle on May 4th. 2) It is taking place in Seattle, but they were told to take it down by WWE because they want to wait before they make it official for whatever reason. I'm leaning towards the second choice because if it was true that it's not there then why would they delete the post? They likely only deleted it because the event is probably taking place there. Usually PPV tickets go on sale at least two months before the show, so there's still plenty of time for it to happen. It's just that we usually know the venues of most of the PPV events earlier. If Seattle's hosting Extreme Rules it would create the perfect environment for a show with Daniel Bryan featured in a top match. It would be awesome to see him featured in a prominent role in front of his local fans that likely have a lot of pride when they see him as a top guy in WWE.
