9. Samoa Joe Smash

Poor Sami Zayn.

Despite being ostensibly one of the top babyface performers on the show, Zayn's role for the time being remains being the guy with a lot of heart who gets annihilated by monsters. It was Zayn who helped Braun Strowman get over his water-treading period, and here it will be Zayn who helps the WWE Universe understand that yes - Joe is going to kill you.

Samoa Joe is still being introduced to the WWE Universe; consequently, a competitive match here may damage him in their eyes. Joe must come out and put a beating on Sami in order to get himself further over as The Destroyer, a human wrecking ball that takes names and hurts people.

The winner of the match is somewhat inconsequential; the main goal must be to make sure Samoa Joe comes out of this match looking like the cold-hearted and violent destroyer that WWE want him to be. Zayn will put up a fight but Zayn must have the fight beaten out of him in this match.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
