You could clearly see what WWE was aiming for this past Monday on RAW with Seth Rollins' sit-down interview with Corey Graves, but the segment was dying a slow and painful death until Triple H came out and saved it with a truly fantastic promo. The segment ended with Hunter warning Rollins not to show up at WrestleMania and Rollins guaranteeing he will - although it remains to be seen whether it will be Hunter vs. Rollins in competition at the Show of Shows.

Rollins needs to be involved at Fastlane somehow. Rollins told Triple H that he will show up and damage Hunter at 'Mania, so why would Triple H just sit back and wait a month for that to happen? The Cerebral Assassin must know that he needs to take Rollins out once more, so it is important that Seth somehow gets the upper hand at the beginning of this final stretch.

A lot will depend on whether Rollins is scheduled to face Triple H or Samoa Joe at 'Mania or whether he will be cleared to wrestle at all, but somehow he must begin to be a true fly in the ointment of The Authority at this show. Given the state of Rollins' knee, it depressingly seems as though this will have to be via the 'music distracts wrestler' trope that draws only groans.

But if that is how the story moves forward, then so be it.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
