WWE Fastlane 2018: 10 Things That Must Happen

3. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn Explode Into A Brawl

WWE could get way more mileage out of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn as a team before splitting them.

Look at the last entry alone. Wouldn't KO and Sami be better SmackDown Tag-Team Title foes for The Usos than New Day at this point? Yes, they would, but WWE seem intent on opening yet another chapter in the fractured friendship saga between pals. This may lead to Owens vs. Zayn at WrestleMania, or it could be a continuation of their issues with Shane McMahon.

In the interim, whatever the script calls for at 'Mania, KO needs some resemblance of revenge for Sami sticking the boots to him on SmackDown. One of those rapid punch-fests (instigated by Owens) we've seen before between both would provide Fastlane's main event with an easy spot that fits in with the story being told.

It'd also explain why KO and Sami ended up losing their chance to become WWE Champion. Neither should be taking the fall in the Six-Pack Challenge, that's for sure. They need to blame each other for being pre-occupied as the winning pinfall/submission happens.
