"It was me, WWE fans. It was me all along, WWE fans".

Those should be Vince McMahon's words before 'Mania 35. His plan to undermine the talents of Kofi Kingston on screen has worked a treat lately, and now the boss has fans eating out of the palms of his hands. Forget the fact Kofi-Mania was accidental, the important thing is that WWE realise it's something well worth running with.

Fastlane made it clear that Kingston is heading for a crack at Daniel Bryan's WWE Title come 7 April. There's no way the bookers can schmooze their way out of making this happen; fan response for Kingston is just too strong right now. People have been sold on the emotion of his rise, and Kofi has been emboldened by their support.

The next step is cashing in and giving folks that elusive Bryan vs. Kingston classic that could be a sleeper hit. After 11 years of service, Kingston deserves a 'Mania moment beyond hosting the show or defending Tag Titles. This would be it.
