1. Seth Rollins Is Trusted To Carry Long Main Events At Live Events
It's interesting that WWE seem serious about John Cena not hogging the main event spotlight anymore, it's also a risky move to not have him headline these house shows - a lot of kids come exclusively to see Cena, so by placing him earlier in the card, the company run the risk of having tired young children calling to go home before the main event has even started. Thankfully, Randy Orton is a big enough draw to kids himself, but the show he and Seth Rollins put on in the main event was very different to the one John Cena and Rusev did earlier. The match was faster-paced, moving along rapidly, and lasted a lot longer than the usual 10 minute house show main events attributed to Cena. In fact, nobody in attendance can claim they didn't get value for money from Rollins vs. Orton, which was a fine main event. It's intriguing that the WWE management team don't mind ending the show with a DQ win either, because it would have been tempting to have Cena's big clean babyface victory close out the event (Orton won by disqualification here, after J&J Security made their presence felt). In Glasgow, Seth Rollins was fully entrusted to put on a lengthy match which suited his style, which is exactly what WWE should be doing with their headline talent. Both he and Orton have terrific chemistry together, which bodes well for their big match at Extreme Rules. Were you in attendance at WWE's live event in Glasgow?
