WWE Glasgow Live Review - 10 Interesting Observations You Need To Know

2. John Cena Gets Cheered More At House Shows

Another anomaly, one which surely cannot be exclusive to Glasgow, is the fact that John Cena doesn't receive the same harsh treatment at house shows that he does during televised events. Who knows why that is, perhaps the cheers mask the booing when actually there inside the arena, they are higher pitched after all! In all seriousness, Cena was treated to a supreme reaction when he came out for his match against Rusev in Glasgow. Even adult males, who typically greet the man with a scathing chorus of negativity, seemed happy to see him come out for his United States Title defence on the show. The match was placed perfectly, right before the mid-show interval, and was a more traditional WWE-style match than what was to come in the main event. There were lots of dramatic rest hold spots, such as Rusev powering out of the STF, and Cena returning the favour by hoisting Rusev onto his back after being trapped in the 'Accolade', and a feel good finish that had the babyface coming out on top.
