1. Greatest Royal Rumble Match

The so-called "Greatest" Royal Rumble was exactly what you'd expect the house show version of WWE's signature over-the-top battle royal to look like. It was fine. Like Kanye West Twitter meltdowns, there's no such thing as dull Rumbles, though last night featured significantly fewer characters than the rapper's latest.

50 men entered, and 49 went over the top rope (well, 48 - Hornswoggle slipped through the middle), with Braun Strowman standing tall in the end. Said leprechaun was the night's, ahem, big surprise, with the likes of Rey Mysterio and The Great Khali announced beforehand. In terms of NXT appearances, we got Roderick Strong and Tucker Knight, along with Babatunde and Dan Matha, who don't even work TV tapings. Sumo wrestler Hiroki Sumi was un-Google-able prior to the show, and partook in one of the Rumble's weirdest guest spots ever. Mike Kanellis may have set a new fastest elimination record. Much of it didn't make sense, but it was a fun time, despite the colossal length.

Not a classic Rumble by any stretch, but an enjoyable spectacle regardless, even if the biggest highlight was a grown man falling on his face.

Star Rating: *** (but ***** for Titus Worldslide)
