Then: Hey, look! It's former TNA breakout star Consequences Creed. Seriously though, most admire how hard Xavier Woods worked to make a splash once he made it to WWE. Nothing was certain, but his real-life friendships with Kofi Kingston and Big E paid huge dividends once the trio clicked with audiences as New Day.

They were probs down internally as the kind of tag-team that was just never going to work, but they went on to shatter records and now all 3 would be eligible for the WWE Hall Of Fame. What a story.

Woods lasted approx 10 minutes in the GRR before being eliminated by fellow musician Elias. Quite why agents didn't book a spot that saw Xavier and Eli jamming the trombone and guitar respectively is up for debate. They could've played a few entrance themes for fellow entrants and had a blast. Then, Dolph Ziggler could've filled the gaps between songs by doing some stand up.

It would've been class!

Now: Xavier is still on the WWE roster plugging away, but his heel turn alongside Kofi has fallen a little flat. Earlier, it was said that they've been spouting the same old, same old whenever they get mic time on Raw. Both are solid talkers, but it's a problem that they have nothing important to talk about.

Triple H knows he'll always get a good enough match out of New Day, to be fair. If only E was able to do something/anything physical to make that heel turn for his ex-partners mean something. Play something sad on the trombone, Xavier.
