WWE Hall Of Fame: 5 Candidates To Induct The Ultimate Warrior

3. Triple H

Triple H B Despite all the accolades to Triple H's name, his WrestleMania record is less than satisfactory, for a guy who is constantly accused of burying talent, his record of 8-9 at the Granddaddy of Em All is surprising. He hardly hit the ground running either, he lost his first match at Mania, and who was it against? Why, no other than The Ultimate Warrior. The match was a total squash, Triple H - known as Hunter Hearst Helmsley at the time - Pedigreed Warrior as soon as the bell rang. A move that typically signals the end nowadays, Warrior would totally no-sell it, getting straight up and proceeding to humble the young upstart with a barrage of blows before ending it all with his Big Splash. Hunter would then go on to become one of the biggest and best heels in the business, having memorable feuds with the likes of Austin, Rock, Michaels, Foley and Undertaker, it's strange to think that prior to his tremendous success he was jobbing to Warrior with millions of people watching. Triple H has spoken on the unprofessional conduct of Warrior and hasn't been afraid to call him one of the worst people he's ever worked with, to see the man himself induct Warrior at the Hall of Fame would make perfect sense. Triple H has proven himself to be capable of working a crowd with humour, which could make for an amusing induction speech. He could provide anecdotes to how Warrior nearly killed his chance in the company, making it a half-roast, it would be entertaining, which is one third of what WWE stands for.
