At Battleground on July 24, Bayley made a surprising appearance to team with Sasha Banks against Charlotte and Dana Brooke. Still an NXT regular at that point, Bayley wouldn't be officially called up to the main roster until being drafted to Monday Night Raw on the August 22 episode of the show.

From there, Bayley's first pay-per-view showing as part of the Raw contingent came at Clash Of Champions. Again alongside Sasha Banks, Bayley challenged Charlotte for the Raw Women's Title on that event. Ultimately, she was unsuccessful and went on to form a rivalry with Dana Brooke that continued on into Hell In A Cell.

There, Bayley picked up a fairly easy win. Flying under the radar is the fact that this was her first ever singles win on main roster WWE pay-per-view. Of course, Bayley did win matches on the NXT TakeOver specials airing on the WWE Network, however this was her first taste of victory in singles action on a Raw supershow.

Due to the throwaway nature of the match against Brooke, that might not have popped into the minds of some.
