It's unclear exactly which direction Rusev will now go following his loss to Roman Reigns at Hell In A Cell. one thing is for sure though, the 'Bulgarian Brute' is likely to retire the ring gear he sported during the pay-per-view for at least a while. After all, wearing it wouldn't make much sense.

Winning the WWE United States Title from Kalisto at Extreme Rules on May 22 of this year, Rusev held the gold for a total of 126 days. At Clash Of Champions on September 25, he then dropped the title to Reigns. Since then, Rusev has been vying to win it back.

In a nice little touch, Rusev was still wearing the ring attire he did when champion during Hell In A Cell. With 'US Champ' emblazoned across the top of his trunks, the former champion was clearly trying to motivate himself in the context of the storyline.

Nuances such as these really help set Rusev apart from some others. It'll be interesting to see if he continues wearing the gear, this wouldn't be logical if he's not chasing the WWE United States Title.
