Without much fuss, Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins went out in a mid card slot and produced a sterling effort inside Hell In A Cell. Even though their match was for the WWE Universal Title (effectively Raw's World Title at this point), both men had been notified that Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks would be headlining the pay-per-view.

In a brilliant moment, Chris Jericho was able to interfere and insert himself into the brawl towards the end. This meant that Rollins vs. Owens suddenly became akin to a handicap match, Seth had little chance once Y2J stormed into the Cell and locked the door behind him.

One small nuance probably lost in the shuffle revolved around Jericho. After KO had won the match by pinfall, his Canadian pal stayed around to level Rollins with a Codebreaker. Post-match, all eyes were on Chris Jericho instead of the reigning Universal Champion.

It was even Y2J's entrance music that started blaring over the PA system in the bout's aftermath. What should have been KO's celebration turned into one for his on screen buddy.
