Chris Jericho is doing some of the best work of his career right now, most are in agreement over that. Whilst this will probably lead to an ill-advised face turn, right now the friendship between Jericho and Universal Champion Kevin Owens is one of the highlights of RAW. Jericho helped Owens defend his championship here against Seth Rollins, and set up a program with Rollins moving forward in the aftermath.

The match was far more fitting of the cell environment than the Reigns/Rusev match, and the stipulation made sense considering the involvement of Jericho over the last month. There was an inevitability to his involvement, but the way he got inside the cell was creative and nicely executed. Owens was in control of the match when he 'inadvertently' blinded a referee with a fire extinguisher, allowing Jericho to take sneak down and lock himself inside the cell.

Jericho only provided distractive help however, as Rollins was able to avoid most two-on-one violence. Jericho was hit by a Pedigree and resembled an irritating fly more than a second foe. It all proved too much in the end however, as KO drove Rollins through two chairs to pick up the win.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
