The Brian Kendrick finally got redemption, defeating TJ Perkins in the best match of their series (to-date) for the Cruiserweight Championship. The finish was a pile of hot garbage however, with the two going to the old 'challenger feigns injury' way out. The commentators didn't even throw out the possibility that Kendrick may have been faking, and the only people buying it were the folk employed by the company.

Still, Perkins dropping the title was the right move. He hasn't truly caught on as champion, further proof that whilst the man is a fantastic wrestler he does seem to be lacking that 'IT Factor' one needs to carry a new division. Perkins will slot in just fine in the division, but the crowd have been reluctant to get behind him as a babyface champion.

The Brian Kendrick has plenty of options now as champion, although surely Rich Swann is the man to drag the division into the light?

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
