Some fans would see Drew McIntyre winning the WWE Title again as a nightmare come to life, but it'd be hard to begrudge the big Scot that elusive run with the belt in front of live crowds. Besides, there's a bigger horror lurking ominously in the notepad of some junior writer.

If Bobby Lashley drops the title, then he may also ditch MVP. Raw viewers will know how crap that sounds, because P (as Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods call him) has been a real boon to Bob's act for over a year now. Lose him and Lashley would be stranded as a speaker; promos aren't exactly the champion's thing.

WWE has been systematically chipping away at the The Hurt Business model though, and this would be the final step. It'd be a huge error, one that'd set Bobby back and leave MVP without anything to do either. Surely they wouldn't go this far?

Stranger things have happened.
