WWE King & Queen Of The Ring 2024: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

7. Liv Morgan Flops As Champ AGAIN

This isn't said lightly, and this isn't something your writer wants to happen.

Check the image above. That's a stone-faced Liv Morgan realising WWE fans weren't buying what she was selling as a babyface SmackDown Women's Champion in 2022. Kayla Braxton cringed her way through what was supposed to be a pop-laden face promo for the new champion, but a rowdy live crowd rebelled and let creative know they didn't like it.

There's no tangible proof that WWE would handle another major Morgan title reign any better two years on. If she beats Becky Lynch to become Women's World Champion on Saturday, then Liv may well experience déjà vu on TV. This time, being fair, the boos would be welcomed, but that only goes so far.

Morgan has a history of wobbling on the mic when things get heated, and it'd be rubbish to see her stumble yet again. Do that, and she'd be kissing any chances of becoming a focal point in the division goodbye. Wrestlers only get a finite number of chances to prove they belong at the top.

If Liv wins out, then let's hope she smashes it this time.
