8. The Bookmakers
Interestingly, what wasn't really picked up by the mainstream press was that the bookmakers also seemed to have access to WWE results before they happened. The gambling odds in Las Vegas and international betting all stacked odds in a way which suggested they knew what was happening. Even more interesting is that the bookmakers were beating Dolphins1925 to posting by days in advance. For example, when Dolphins1925 posted his Money In The Bank PPV spoilers, Sky Bet had already posted the odds days earlier. Sky Bet were right on every result. Even completely unlikely ones such as making Damien Sandow a 5/6 favorite at a time when few expected him to win. This in theory suggests it could be the better connected bookies who have the leak, and knowing that the bookies get it right Dolphins1925 just goes off their favorites and passes it off as his own insider. It could make sense that WWE would deliberately let the bookies know who is winning their matches, in order to stop insider betting going on in the company. Just a theory. The bookies have of course got results wrong in the past. They predicted Royal Rumble 2013 perfectly, apart from Team Hell No who they had to lose. The bookies started getting their results 100% right around the same time that Dolphins1925 came on to the scene. Is Dolphins1925 just going off the bookies? Or are both the odds makers and Dolphins1925 talking to a leaker inside WWE? Whatever the situation, the odds makers are getting their result favorites posted much quicker than Dolphins1925.
