3. WWE Doesn't Care

One of the odd aspects of the story is WWE's apparent indifferent attitude to the leak. You would think they would want to shut the leaker down, but the reality seems to reflect their light hearted statement on the matter - they just don't care enough to implement a thorough investigation. We can conclude that WWE doesn't care, because if they did then they surely have the means to stop this issue. The whole of the next pay per view could be booked in a way that only Vince, Steph and Hunter know the result, giving the finish to talent as they get to the curtain. That would stop the leak. But WWE just aren't bothered enough to do it. It certainly would not have been like this in the past. Thirty years ago kayfabe was king, and forty to fifty years ago a leak would probably have been shot for something like this in some of the southern territories. Even in the 90's and 2000's Vince McMahon was very particular about issues of leaks. For McMahon it was a matter of pride, he gathered the locker room in the mid 2000's and threatened his talent with repercussions if anybody was involved in leaks. In the late 90's the business was like a sieve and both McMahon and Eric Bischoff would regularly take actions within the locker room to stop information getting out. Either McMahon now doesn't care or is failing miserably to protect the business. Dolphins1925 does state however that WWE do care, saying that they are now taking measures to halt the leak, which was the goal all along. It will be interesting to see if Dolphins1925 continues to get the results correct.
