WWE Hall Of Famer and current AEW cameo artist Rob Van Dam believes Sammy Guevara must take responsibility for hurting Jeff Hardy during a 'No DQ' match on the 16 February edition of Rampage.

There, Guevara's knees came down hard on Jeff's face during a shooting star press spot. The painful bump reportedly shattered Hardy's nose, but the match continued for another 30 seconds or so before both men went into the finish.

RVD didn't like that one bit, but acknowledged via his podcast that "accidents happen" out there. Rob isn't "throwing shade on anybody". However, he does think Sammy should be held accountable for making a mess of the move and hurting Jeff.

Van Dam has fired a few live rounds in his time, and was considered a stiff worker during his prime; that's been thrown at him by several ex-peers during shoot interviews. Presumably, that's why Rob is understanding of the situation but is also keen to press one thing: "When you f*ck it up, that's on you!".

Hardy hasn't worked a match since that episode of Rampage aired (it was taped two days prior on 14 February).
