WWE May Take Legal Action Against Fans Hopping The Barrier
WWE will reportedly prosecute any fans who jump the rail in the future.
Following yet another incident of a fan crossing the line during Sunday's Night Of Champions PPV, WWE will reportedly be cracking down on fans who take this kind of action in the future. Following the event last night, WWE issued the following statement to many within the wrestling media:
"WWE takes the safety of our performers very seriously and any fan entering the ring area will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."At Night Of Champions, a fan actually entered the ring following Roman Reigns' entrance and stood next to Reigns, staring him down. The fan appeared to be dressed up like a member of The Shield. Reigns slowly turned to face the man as security jumped into the ring, took the fan down, and hauled him off out of the ring area. WWE will reportedly be seeking legal action against all fans who take this kind of action in the future in an attempt to stop these incidents from happening. In the past, WWE has brought legal action to some individuals, while also settling for just apologies from others. Now, legal prosecution is likely to be sought out under all circumstances, and a lifetime ban from WWE events is also a given. The incident Sunday night was just one in a string of recent fan incidents at WWE live events. Just two weeks ago during RAW, a fan jumped the rail and walked down the entrance ramp next to Seth Rollins for several feet before being taken down by WWE security.
