5. Ryback And Curtis Axel Vs Goldust And Stardust
WWE.comThe emergence of Stardust certainly got fans talking, so it makes sense to give the new character a prominent role on pay per view. It's a chance for WWE to tell the story that Cody Rhodes has reinvented himself, finding success by embracing his persona. This tag match writes itself, the heels work over Goldust for the majority, before the youthful energy of Stardust gets tagged in to save the day and get the plaudits as a hero. Ryback and Curtis Axe are going nowhere. They're glorified jobbers, stepping stones for Stardust's new push. You'd guess that Axel takes the fall after a big Stardust moonsault. Action wise it probably won't be very good. It's the kind of match which will probably be eight minutes of boredom before a nice rallying end for the man of the moment.
