WWE Money In The Bank 2016: 10 Things You Probably Missed

2. Natalya's Superficial Promo Hints At Future Heel Turn

There was a sickening vibe to the 'Social Media Lounge' promo involving Becky Lynch and Natalya during the Money In The Bank Kickoff show. Tom Phillips asked the pair easy questions from fans on Twitter, allowing them to gush about their friendship. That wasn't the only purpose of the skit, as would be revealed later.

Following their loss to Charlotte and Dana Brooke on the pay-per-view, Natalya hammered Lynch from behind and turned heel on her on screen chum. The prior promo did an expert job of laying the foundations for that alignment change, especially when analysing just how superficial it was.

Whilst Becky wanted to make love hearts with their hands, Natalya slyly slipped in the fact that her father Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart had taught her a thing or two. This came when the tandem discussed Charlotte's cruel dismissal of Ric Flair several weeks ago.

Could that have been deliberate from Natalya, an attempt to warn Becky that she was on the edge? It's possible, because Natalya really came across as over-the-top and condescending (even more so than Lynch) in the promo.
