WWE Money In The Bank 2016: 10 Things You Probably Missed

At Extreme Rules, Chris Jericho faced Dean Ambrose in the first ever Asylum Match. Locked in a Steel Cage, the duo also made use of several hammy weapons like a mop (!?), a fire extinguisher and even nunchucks. Towards the end of the bout, Jericho was also planted back-first onto a whole load of razor-sharp thumbtacks.

It's smart to continue making references to that bump, Jericho should get as much mileage out of it as he can. The pain must have been horrible, especially when medical staff backstage picked out each tack individually. At Money In The Bank, Y2J decided to work the thumbtack bump into a spot with Ambrose.

Repeatedly ramming the side of a ladder down onto his fierce rival, the Canadian kept loudly mouthing off about the thumbtacks. Some may have missed it if they weren't paying full attention, but the heel said he intended to hit Ambrose with the ladder 69 times, the same number of tacks which had ravaged his body at Extreme Rules.

Jericho didn't get very far before he was interrupted by someone else in the match, but it was a nifty spot.
